Our Founder
Andrea Menard
Andrea Menard is an accomplished Métis speaker, songkeeper, author, trainer, retreat host and the founder of the Sacred Feminine Learning Lodge. As seen in USA Today, she is a leading influencer in Feminine Leadership and a passionate advocate for reMatriation and reconciliation. Andrea helps women, men and all-gendered people to name, reclaim and embody the qualities of the Sacred Feminine by developing skills in listening, receptivity, ferocity, creative expansion, and emotional expression.
Andrea is a Metis woman from Treaty 1 territory and the Homeland of the Metis. She carries the name Skooteah Equahh, which means Fire Woman in Anishinaabemowin, and the Nehiwewan name Notigwew Yutin, which means Grandmother Wind. These elemental names deeply inform Andrea’s work.

Kate Phelps
Kate Phelps is a women’s empowerment expert with 20 years of experience in the business, government, and international development sectors. Her passion for advancing social issues, both local and global, began in her youth as she was a founding member of an organization to protect children in Canada from sexual exploitation. Together they raised awareness and a petition with 55,000 signatures that was presented to parliament to encourage improved legislation. Kate went on to the United Nations to attend conferences to advocate for better protection and rights for children. After living and working around the world, Kate’s nomadic heart came home and she is now the Executive Director for Her International, a Canadian nonprofit that empowers women through education.
As a Métis woman, Kate honours her Indigenous, Celtic, and Scandinavian heritage and the teachings each one brings her. Descended from a line of matriarchal healers and scholars, Kate draws on both the heart and the mind when working with individuals and communities to foster connection, personal growth, and self-reliance.
Kate graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA in Middle Eastern Studies & Arabic and a Masters in Public Administration / International Development from the University of York.

Thank you for coming to play in the realm of the Sacred Feminine at the Sacred Feminine Learning Lodge.
According to my Indigenous Elders of Turtle Island (North America), this is the time of the Rise of the Sacred Feminine. It's a time when all of humanity is in the process of restoring balance on the Earth. You included! Through your individual healing and the rising collective vision for a better world, all systems and structures that denigrate the Earth and reject the compassionate, inclusive nature of the Sacred Feminine are being dismantled.
You are a very important part of the Rise of the Sacred Feminine.
By turning a compassionate heart and a receptive ear to your own struggles and mysteries, you are allowing the Sacred Feminine to arise in your own life. Honouring your own healing and journey is an act of deep love for your Self and for the World.
